Kohlberg Kravis Roberts to acquire 1.28% stake in Reliance Retail at Rs 5,500 crore

Global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts is going to acquire a 1.28 percent equity stake in Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Retail Ventures Limited for Rs. 5,500 crores. After this investment, Reliance Retail's pre-money equity value will stand at Rs. 4.21 lakh crore. KKR had earlier infused Rs. 11,367 crore in Jio Platforms announced earlier this year. Mukesh Ambani said he was pleased to welcome KKR as an investor.
