Delivering the second Bhattacharya Lectureship on the Future of India at the University of California in Berkley, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan called out excessive centralisation of power in the political decision making as India's major problem and the need for a will to take initiatives and finish them on time like 'statue of unity'. He said that demonetization and GST led to decline in India's economic growth.
