L&T gets green signal from CCI to acquire Mindtree Ltd

A green signal has come from the Competition Commission of India on Friday to allow the acquisition of Mindtree Ltd by the engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro Ltd. On a fully diluted basis, the CCI approved L&T to acquire up to 66.15% of the total equity shareholding of the Bengaluru-headquartered IT services firm. It is only in the last month when L&T bought 20.32% stake in Mindtree.
