The world's 18th-richest person MacKenzie Scott has reportedly given away more than $4 billion in four months. Scott announced $1.7 billion in gifts in July while underlining the contributions of different sections. She has also asked her team to speed up the donation process. The billionaire's wealth has surged by $23.6 billion this year to $60.7 billion. She described the pandemic as "a wrecking ball in the lives of Americans".
