Mahindra Electric eyeing supply of electric vehicle powertrains

Mahindra Electric will join hands with global automotive manufacturers for the supply of electric vehicle powertrains. The vehicle parts will be supplied to Ssangyong Motor by early 2021. The company will invest a staggering Rs 1,000 crore in the next three years. It will increase the capacity to more than 70,000 units per year than the current 15,000 units. It’s also setting up a global R&D centre at Bangaluru.
