Make in India Lithium Ion battery soon

Make in India has now targeted new market as India will start producing the Lithium-Ion battery for the first time. MoU for transfer of technology for India’s first Lithium Ion Battery project was signed between CSIR’s (CECRI) and RAASI Solar Power Pvt Ltd. This initiative will help India to save around $150 million, which was spent to import on Li-Ion batteries and also reduce dependence on China, Japan and South Korea.
