Malayalam TV station owner escaped UAE following huge losses

Facing loss, the Indian owner of a Dubai-based Malayalam TV station has escaped the UAE, leaving his employees unpaid. Channel D was aired 2 years back which had two live shows daily. A senior staffer at the channel said that they didn't get their pays from months but were still working in the hope of a turnaround. They did not expect the end so soon. The office is closed, but old shows are being repeated.
