MSME Budget 2020: Subordinate debt for entrepreneurs of MSMEs will be provided

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that subordinated debt for entrepreneurs of MSMEs will be provided. "More than 5 lakh MSME benefited from debt restructuring last year," she said. The Minister called for ending tax harassment. She added that a tax-payer charter will be institutionalised in the budget. This will help in building trust. RBI has been asked to extend the window of debt structuring by one year to March 2021.
