Mukesh Ambani's Reliance becomes first Indian company to hit market cap of ₹10 lakh crore

Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) added another achievement to its name as it today became the first Indian company to hit the ₹10 lakh crore milestone in market cap. Reliance Industries' shares rose to a record high of ₹1,581 apiece. The company announced last month that it would invest over ₹100 lakh crore to create a digital services company as it seeks to cut debt at Jio, to attract a strategic investor.
