Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries‘ chairman Mukesh Ambani, has joined the board of Jio Platforms as an additional director. Anant was appointed on the board of Jio Platforms on March 16, 2020. Jio Platforms, the unit of Reliance Industries Limited, comprises mostly its telecom business under Reliance Jio Infocomm, which is the largest in the country with more than 388 million subscribers.
