Mumbai-based Indus-OS received funding from Samsung Ventures

Mumbai-based Indus OS has raised $5.75 million of investment in the Series B funding. Samsung's investment arm Ventureast was leading the investment, and this also marks the maiden investment of Samsung Ventures in India. Indus app bazaar, the company's indigenous app store has over 400,000 applications along with a strong recommendation engine so that users can quickly check and download the apps they need.
