New, simplified GST return forms to be rolled out soon

Acting on the suggestions made by the GST council, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) have asked their software vendor Infosys to roll out a simplified GST return form. To develop a uniform accounting software, the ministers have identified 18 small taxpayers across the country. The Group of Ministers Chairman for GSTN Sushil Kumar Modi said the software will be released in the next 4-6 months.
