Nissan sues India over $770 million due

Nissan, the popular Japanese automaker company has filed International Arbitration against India for a $770 million dispute. In 2008, Nissan had a deal with TamilNadu government about setting up a car manufacturing plant there. Following that Nissan’s repeated requests were ignored by the State government and finally last year the company, after incurring severe losses, had sent a legal notice to PM Modi in July 2016.
