OnePlus zooms past Samsung to become the leader in Indian Premium Segment

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has beaten Samsung, Apple, by capturing its highest-ever shipment share of 43% in the 2nd quarter to become the leader in the premium segment (Rs 30k and above) in India. They debuted in the ultra-premium segment (Rs 45k and above) with OnePlus 7Pro and quickly won a 26% share. Samsung fell to the 2nd position in the overall premium segment holding 22% shares with volumes dipping 16%.
