Paytm mall separates functions from parent company One97 Communications

Paytm is going through a complete rebuilding exercise by pivoting the asset-light model and since January Paytm mall has got the backing of eBay. Finally, after several changes in the business model, Paytm mall has decided to separate all its functions from its parent company One97 Communications. eBay holds 5.59% stake in Paytm mall for about $160 million and with the Paytm mall's evaluation has soared up to $3 Billion.
