According to a poll conducted by Reuters, India's consumer price inflation eased down in June from March. Nearly 35 economists took part in the poll that was conducted between July 3-8. As per the poll, retail inflation in the country in June moderated to 5.30 per cent from a revised 5.84 per cent in March. However, the number is still higher than the Reserve Bank of India's medium-term target of 4.00 percent.
