Post Liberalization, Corporate India faced worst year in 2015-16

In the post liberalization era, 2015-16 was the worst year that corporate India has faced with a mere 1.6 growth of sales, according to the data published from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy. The data has collated information for 21,000 companies and has shown indicators like profitability, employee compensation among other things, and it was worst in 2015-16 as the sales and profits also became stagnant.
