RBI data shows unclaimed Rs 11,300 crore from 64 banks

A data from RBI has revealed that Rs. 11,300 crore is lying unattended in 64 banks across India. Most of this money belongs to deceased account holders and there is unaccounted money too. Rs. 1,262crore is lying with SBI while the other nationalized banks hole Rs. 7,040 crore and among the private banks, HDFC, IndusInd, Axis, Kotak Mahindra, and Yes bank have Rs. 824 crore deposits.
