Bangladesh will sell 25% stake in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) to a Chinese consortium. However, in order to do that, they have rejected bids from India’s NSE and NASDAQ of US. The market capital of the DSE is over USD 51.42 billion and they are going to send the proposal to the regulators. DSE is presently trying to attract foreign investors as a part of its demutualization process.
