Reports suggests, Indians' unaccounted wealth abroad is $490 Billion

According to the latest studies by NIPFP, NCAER and NIFM, the unaccounted wealth outside the country held by Indians is estimated in the range of $216.48 billion to $490 billion between the periods of 1980 and 2010. There are no reliable estimates of black money accumulation, and all the estimates depend on various assumptions and adjustments. There is also no uniformity about the best methods to be used for this.
