Rs 2000 note's price falls 65 paise per piece in 2018-19 period

Rs 2000 notes were introduced after the de-monetization in Nov 2016. The price of Rs 2000 notes dropped to 65 paise per piece in 2018-19 as per official data. The selling price of Rs 2000 note from the BRBNMPL was Rs 3.53/piece in 2018-19 and declined 65 paise from Rs 4.18 per piece in 2017-18. The price of Rs 500 note fell from Rs 2.39 in 2017-18 to Rs 2.13 in 2018-19. The cost of Rs 200 note fell from Rs 2.15 to Rs 2.24.
