SBI, the first Indian Bank, to open its office in Victoria, Australia

The SBI opens its office in Melbourne on Mon & became the 1st Indian bank to have a branch in Victoria state, Australia. Melbourne office will assist in growing trade & investment relations between Victoria & India. At the inauguration, Victoria's parliamentary secretary Steve Dimopoulos said 'we are delighted to welcome the SBI to Victoria'. Victoria already has the presence of leading Indian firms-Cipla, Infosys, Wipro, TCS.
