Second after Apple, Amazon is now valued at $1 trillion

Following the rise in share price on Tuesday, Amazon has become the second company after Apple to reach the $1 trillion value. The wall street announced the milestone for Amazon as it touched $1tn before noon. Apple reached the milestone first due to better financial result last month. The stock market value of Amazon, which had revenues of $178bn last year, along with Apple is now more than third of UK economy.
