Second most jobs for MGNREGA cardholder families created in Chattisgarh

According to the official data released by the Chattisgarh Government, the state accounts for 41 percent of the total number of families which got 100-days of employment under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in the country. As per the data, as many as 55,981 families got employment for 100 days in the state. In terms of numbers, this is the second-best in the country.
