Security-concerned Paytm Mall partners with E&Y to probe cashback fraud by workers

Concerned over security, Paytm’s e-commerce subsidiary Paytm Mall has done a partnership with audit firm E&Y to develop a technology-based fraud prevention system. A source revealed that the audit firm would help to probe an alleged cashback fraud which involved its staff members. A report stated that a group of junior & mid-level staffers at Paytm Mall created a fake list of vendors, orders & buyers to exploit funds.
