Suffering from old-age ailments, veteran industrialist BM Khaitan passes away

At the age of 92, veteran industrialist and Williamson Magor Group patriarch Brij Mohan Khaitan was suffering from old-age ailments and passed away on Saturday. He was deemed as the doyen of the tea industry in India. Recently, he resigned as non-executive chairman from the boards of Eveready Industries and McLeod Russel due to his old age. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter to express her condolences.
