Survey finds e-wallets and digital transactions still need a boost

According to the 2018 Digital Habits Survey by Exide Life Insurance, 75% of the respondents could carry out online transactions with confidence, while a mere 32% preferred to use digital payment options. E-wallets and BHIM app were found to be used by less than 5% respondents. Most of the respondents liked to use credit cards for high-value transactions instead of debit cards, which were the second favourable option.
