Microsoft acquires Blue Talon, which is a data privacy and governance service that assists enterprises set policies for how their employees can access their data. The service then implements those policies across most popular data environments and also presents tools for auditing policies and access. Blue Talon will be a part of the Azure Data Governance group. It had already raised $27.4 million before the acquisition.
