Walmart faced million-dollar damage as the solar panels installed by Tesla on Walmart store rooftops went up in flames. Tesla got sued as the reports found several solar panels been broken and wires hung out, causing a risk from fire. Tesla engaged in “widespread, systemic negligence” and “failed to abide by prudent industry practices in installing, operating, and maintaining its solar systems” said Walmart.
