The ultra rich 1% Indians owns more than 50% of the country's total wealth

51% of India's wealth is owned by 1% of the rich Indians, according to a Credit Suisse 2018 Global Wealth Report. India is now in the 3rd position in terms of the number of billionaires in the country and the riches have kept their noses above the water while the poor couldn't gain any leverage. Mukesh Ambani, Laxmi Mittal, Hinduja Brothers, Azim Premji are some of the names that fall in the 1% category.
