Thomas Cook Group Plc, of Great Britain, approached the UK govt for a rescue effort in an attempt to stop a crash, following threatened lenders to withdraw from a suggested rescue agreement. The move follows the request from the British travel company to complete the reorganization plan for an additional $250 million. Formed in 1841, Thomas Cook has had a hard time competing for famous destinations in the latest years.
