This year, Tiger Global, a New York-based investment business, has increased its capital deployment capacity quite considerably. They made significant investments, rising to become one of the leading investors in 2021. It has surpassed Sequoia Capital as the leading investor in Indian unicorns; having invested in 9 out of the 15 businesses that have joined the club giving them a stake in 50% of the Indian unicorns.
