Top 3 Indian telecom companies' debt is equivalent to half of India's fiscal deficit

According to a recent report, the telecom war started by Reliance Jio will go on for couple of more years. It also said that the stress of investments and the lack of revenues due to deep discounting is affecting the whole industry, including Jio. The total debt of the 3 key players Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea is a massive Rs 3.0 lakh crore, which is nearly half of the fiscal deficit amount of India.
