Donald Trump threatened to raise tariffs on $200 bn of Chinese goods this week because of talks on a US-China trade deal are moving too slowly. The trade deal with China continues but too slowly as they attempt to renegotiate. Trump had earlier delayed further tariff increases in this year. Now, the US has imposed tariffs on $250 bn of Chinese goods, has accused the country of unfair trade practices.
