Nearly 6,000 taxi drivers have filed a case against the ride-hailing firm Uber for destroying their livelihood. In their lawsuit, they have alleged that the illegal operations of Uber in Australia had a devastating impact on the lives of hard-working and law-abiding citizens in the country. A legal firm Maurice Blackburn has filed the lawsuit on behalf of taxi drivers, charter vehicles & limousines, among others.
