Uber fires 435 employees after facing heavy losses

Uber has let go of 435 more employees as the brand faces heavy losses. In July, Uber had laid off 400 employees, out of which 170 were from the Products department while 265 were from the Engineering department. The regional offices have also taken a hit, which sees 85% being laid off in the US, 10% in the Asia-pacific and remaining 5% in Europe, middle east and Africa. In the second quarter, Uber had a $5.2 billion loss.
