Uber is laying off 400 employees globally

Global ride-hailing major Uber is struggling financially and the senior vice president of Marketing and Public Affairs of the company, Jill Hazelbaker has announced that they are planning to lay off 400 employees globally. They said that many of the teams are 'too big' and need to be redesigned. The reorganized marketing team would work under the leadership of Mike Strickman. He joined Uber a month ago from TripAdvisor.
