Unpaid work of the women is equivalent to $10 trillion a year: Oxfam

According to an Oxfam survey, globally the unpaid work of the women is equivalent to 43 times of the Apple's annual turnover i.e. $10 trillion. Per day a woman spends 312 minutes in urban area and 291 minutes in rural area on unpaid work. In comparison men in urban area spend 32 minutes and in rural area spend 29 minutes in unpaid work. Oxfam added that the inequality the Indian women face in daily basis is huge.
