US fined Walmart of $282 million for bribing govt official in India

Looks like, Walmart is facing trouble in the US for their business in India. It has come out in an investigation that the retail giant had bribed the govt officials in India, Brazil, Mexico, and China before 2011. For that offense, Walmart has to pay $282 million to the US. The CEO of Walmart has said that they are happy to resolve the issue as they are committed to do business ethically and in the right way.
