Uber and Grab merger deal was found to have violated the 'anti-competition' laws of Singapore and have been hit by $9.5 million fines. Grab merged with Uber's Southeast Asia's business in March but after a months-long investigation, the Competition Commission of Singapore has called it 'anti-competitive' for infringing section 54 of the competition act. The Philippines also launched an investigation and had passed the deal.
