GST Return filing date, Vivad se Vishwas scheme extended to June 30 amid Coronavirus outbreak

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Vivad se Vishwas scheme has been extended to June 30, no 10% additional charge on paying principal amount involved in tax dispute. She further mentioned that companies with turnover of over ₹5cr will to be charged late fee, penalty on late GST return filing. Several other tax deadlines were also extended today in the wake of the novel coronavirus.
