India's third largest telecom company Vodafone-Idea has reported a loss worth Rs 73,878 crore in financial year 2019-20. The firm had to witness the staggering loss after complying with statutory dues mandated by the Supreme Court. The company has to pay Rs 51,400 crore dues after the top court ordered the non-telecom revenues to be included in calculating statutory dues. This was the highest ever net loss by any Indian firm.
