Walmart Foundation announces $4.8 million grants to help small farmers in India

The philanthropic wing of global retailer Walmart, Walmart Foundation, announced $4.8 million in grants to Digital Green & Techno Serve, in a bid to help small farmers get access to agriculture technology, training on sustainable farmer methods, enhanced access to formal markets, skill & capacity building for FPOs. The Walmart Foundation has contributed overall $10 million towards its $25 million goal.
