West Bengal tops the MSME list in the country

Good news for Bengal Global Business Summit. West Bengal, with 52,69,814 units, now has the most number of Micro and Small Scale Enterprises and Textiles (MSMEs) in India. Bengal has leapfrogged industrially rich Maharashtra and Gujarat. Uttar Pradesh stood at 2nd spot followed by Maharashtra, while Gujarat lies at 8th position. The top 10 states account for 70% of the 4.53 crore MSME units in India.
