Wipro's buyback: Azim Premji and other promoters sold 22.46cr shares

During the recent share buyback of Wipro, Azim Premji, Azim Premji trust and other promoter groups have sold more than 22.46cr shares worth Rs 7,300cr. Earlier this year, Azim Premji pledged his 67% stake in the company to Azim Premji Foundation for several educational initiatives. The buyback was closed last month where Wipro spent nearly Rs 10,500cr to buy back 32.3cr shares at Rs 325 apiece.
