World's Top 100 firms have a market cap of $20 trillion

PWC's report on Global Top 100 ranking companies has observed that the total capitalisation of these companies was $20 trillion, 15% more than last year. Amazon emerged at top of the list with a market cap gain of $278 billion, followed by China's Tencent and Alibaba. The US had 54 companies on the list, contributing to 48% of the growth. Apple was yet again a top contributor for seventh consecutive time.
