World Bank report on Indian banking habits.

According to the latest report by the World Bank, India has progressed steadily in its banking habits. It reveals that the percentage of the population who own bank accounts has increased from 35% in 2011 to 80% in 2017. Moreover, adoption of digital payments has increased efficiency in the public system. Ownership of debit (rise by 25%) and credit (rise by 1%) cards has also seen a slow but steady increase.
