Y Combinator is expanding towards China

After Y Combinator has hired the former Microsoft and Baidu executive, Qi Lu, it is expanding to China. He will develop an independent startup program that will run on Chinese soil. It is an American seed accelerator, started in March 2005. Lu has worked with Yahoo for 11 years. It will also expand the business in Seattle. For now, no specific time has been decided when it will start its startup programme in China.
