Yahoo has shut down its news operations in India over the new regulatory laws in the country that limit the "foreign ownership of media companies that operate and publish digital content in India." Yahoo told its users in India that their Yahoo Account, Mail, and Search experiences will not be affected in any way. "We did not come to this decision lightly," the American web services provider said.
