WHO chief Tedros has insisted that nations must boost the safety of doctors & nurses, as many of them are incurring an infection while treating coronavirus patients. Nearly 14% of COVID-19 cases reported to the WHO are among healthcare workers. Even though data is limited, it is difficult to find whether healthcare workers are infected at their workplace or communities. As per CDC, over 600 healthcare staff died in the US alone.
